For those who are wondering about music in the end, it's time to rewatch not only Kubrick's Shining, but Clockwork Orange too. It's Funeral of Mary Queen. The whole time I was getting justice for the kids killed. I think that we should have seen more of the part of him being “Doctor Sleep”. I wonder how few in here know that it's based on the book. Doctor sleep has been out for years and was a more than amazing sequel with great plot twists at the end. When you learn about Kings past, particularly battles with addiction, its not hard to see why me made jack sympathetic and particularly didnt like how Kubrick made him more evil. A part of king wants to remove the agency of his past and the harm he likely inflicted on his own son because for him it felt like possession, but Kubrick presents this as an outsider seeing a man harm his family and thats why King sees it as “cold”. The same thing can be said about “IT” in the way that you could make that whole movie about bad childhoods and sexual abuse of you reveal at the end that there was no supernatural force and the children imagined it as such because you cant battle a society that looks the other way when a bully is beating the shit out of you, but blame it all on a monster and maybe you can kill the monster.

Brilliant scene the movie should have been done as a Six Hour series for HBO that would have been much better with a lot more material from the book. The only scariest scenes compilation that gave me goosebumps even after having watched this for more than once. Reality they hurt kids. Hollywood satanic rituals. Just finished watching this movie and maaaaaaan this movie is a ten out of ten. The world will shine again. Check out the new trailer for Doctor Sleep. 3.6K people need to be “corrected”. I was surprised how much I actually liked this movie. I never understood why Danny didn't just roll down the stairs. lol. But thanks to everyone who supports us i was able go to the medical school. Its going to be interesting to see the outcome of the Kubrick film play out in this film, considering the hotel blew up in the book and didn't in the film...

I wonder if hell meet his dad. Lol the guy in the bear costume. A furry before furries were furries. Okay I was already impressed but then they played the THEME at the end and I had a spasm. The ending sounds were the sounds from the beggining of the shining. We need more artistically made films like this. When the cook got there, it showed him walking away from the snowcat. I thought, I'm going to be so disappointed if this is just used as an excuse to give them a vehicle to escape in. Boom, the cook instantly dies and the only thing he was good for was delivering the snowcat. I was most disappointed indeed.
